Chris has a wealth of experience and utilises that experience to assist his client in an in-depth manner. He has an ability to assist clients from a wide range of industries, and with a wide range of issues.
This has enabled him to proactively assist his clients in making decisions so that all ramifications are considered, even those the client doesn’t see.
Whilst he is able to advise over a wide range of industries, two areas of speciality are the building industry and Not-For-Profits (in particular NDIS).
Chris is married to Melissa and has three beautiful children. He is a trivia buff and loves making Christmas cutouts as well as enjoying all things sport.

Mark has 35 years of experience in tax and business consulting. He loves to help clients grow their businesses and improve their financial position, by being involved in the important decisions they need to make.
Running is Mark’s passion, having recently finished his first marathon with the help of “Maccas Mob”.

Stephen has experience in working closely with many and varied business clients. He enjoys assisting his clients to get the most from their businesses. In his spare time Stephen enjoys all things sport but in particular playing soccer and watching the v8 supercar series.

Jamie draws on over 18 years of Accounting experience supported by a significant history of senior management within the major retail department store industry. It was when he decided to join Bentleys in 2005 however, that Jamie would hone his strengths as a CPA offering personal and specially-tailored accounting services for a diverse range of clients.

Jamie is able to apply his skills in a very practical way as he understands the logistics of running staff, inventory, supply chain and all of the daily challenges business owners and managers face.

Jamie is responsible for a wide variety of clients operating in many industries and has a strong background in understanding the needs of these industries, including Construction, Real Estate, Architecture, Retail, Wholesale, Engineering, Transport and Legal Firms.

In his spare time Jamie enjoys spending time with his family and friends and travelling.

Kim began her career in audit/business services in a Big 4 accounting firm many, many moons ago followed by Senior Accountant positions in several smaller firms.  Superannuation was always a part of Kim’s role wherever she worked and it was always an area of special interest for her.

Kim joined Bentleys Newcastle in 2008 and has been happily managing the Bentleys’ Superannuation team since then. Kim is a CA SMSF Specialist after undertaking the training with CAANZ in 2012.

Most weekends will find Kim at some sporting field with her 2 teenage sons or taking long walks with her husband and fur baby as she enjoys being a part of her wonderful family.

Leah is a CPA-qualified accountant who has been in the industry since 1999. She is part of our SMSF (Self-Managed Superannuation Fund) Division. In her spare time she is a volunteer surf life saver and loves being down at the beach with her family.

Anne has been in the industry about 14 years working in the area of small to medium businesses ranging from primary production to transport industry .

Her current role is to manage a team of accountants at different levels of there studies.  She also manages a portfolio of clients for some of the partners. In her spare time she breeds show border collies.

Justin has 10 years of accounting experience and splits his time between the Business Services and Audit divisions of the firm. Outside of the office he likes to spend his time fishing and working on his boat.

Jarrod has 10 years of accounting experience.  He predominantly works in the Business Services sector within Bentleys Newcastle but also involved in workers compensation audits and fringe benefits tax. Jarrod’s interest includes fishing, cars, motorbikes and rugby league.

Taylah Hiles (nee Watson) started working at Bentleys Newcastle in 2015 and is an Accountant who works in our business services team.

Taylah has completed her studies as a Chartered Accountant (CA) and, in her spare time, loves heading to the beach and spending time with her puppies!

Brent is an Accountant with 4 years’ experience, who usually works on personal income tax returns and with business clients.

In his free time, Brent usually watches or plays sport and spends time with family and friends.

Dareios joined the Bentleys Newcastle team in 2022. Dareios has many years of experience working in a variety of local businesses and primarily assists the Bentleys Team in relation to personal income tax returns and assists with our business services clients. Dareios has completed his Bachelor of Commerce.

In his spare time, he enjoys staying active, going to the gym and playing Soccer.

Shirley has been an integral part of the Bentleys administration team since 2006 and has progressed to the role of Administration and Office Manager.

Shirley has now dropped back to part-time to spend more time with her grandchildren.

In her spare time, Shirley loves challenging herself by doing word and jigsaw puzzles.

Teigan started working at Bentleys Newcastle in 2015 and in 2019 took over the Administration Manager role.

Her main duties in the office include guiding the admin staff, supporting the accounting staff and assisting the lovely clients with their Corporate Secretarial needs.

On her weekends she spends her time with her Husband and fur babies, catch up with friends and go on camping and 4wd adventures.

Jane has worked at Bentleys for the last 10 years in administration. She also enjoys reading, watching tv and playing computer games.

Astrid has been apart of the Bentleys Family since 2016 working as an Administration Officer. Her roles in the office include answering phones, booking in jobs, invoicing and many other fun things! Her hobbies include Belly dance and playing around with makeup.

My focus on building lasting relationships with clients ensures that we are continually working towards achieving their goals, whilst making the necessary adjustments along the way. This provides my clients with piece of mind that their financial affairs are being well managed on a continual basis.

My experience in wealth management and behaviour finance ensures that when building a holistic financial plan for my clients, I have a deep understanding on the levers that help clients achieve their goals through wise management of their investment portfolios. I work with a diverse client base, including professionals, business owners as well as retirees requiring holistic financial planning and wealth management.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, mountain biking, swimming and spending time with my wife and 3 kids.
